We are proud to offer area youth the opportunity
to participate in football and cheerleading.

The mission of ISPWA is to enable children to benefit from participation in team sports in a safe & structured environment.  Through participation, ISPWA adults will model & teach fundamental skills, values & knowledge that children can use throughout their lives.

Football players will compete at two age levels: Junior Pee Wee, consisting of primarily 8- and 9-year-olds, and Pee Wee, consisting primarily of 10-, 11-, and 12-year-olds. Some 10-year-olds will play at the Junior Pee Wee level. The regular season for both levels consists of six games, with the possibility of two playoff games for Pee Wee teams.

Cheerleaders perform onsite at games, and participate in the Mid-State Conference Competition coinciding with the football championship weekend. Practice will begin the first full week of August.

We offer the kids plenty of fun and exciting activities throughout the season! These include marching in the Scandinavia Corn Roast Parade, Family Fun Night and much more.

The Firebirds are part of the Mid-State Youth Football & Cheerleading Conference. The other teams in the conference include: Adams-Friendship, Almond, Amherst, Berlin, Iola-Scandinavia, Manawa, Omro, Plainfield, Quad Cities, Rosholt, Wautoma, Weyauwega, Wild Rose, Winneconne and Wittenberg.

Our program would not be possible without the volunteer help we get, so please make sure to help in anyway you can.

Registration fees are non-refundable after rosters have been set and conference fees have been paid. A partial refund of $25 due to medical reasons or other life events will be considered by the ISPWA Board.
